Welcome to the Wilmington Pool Service website and thank you for visiting. My name is Loren Whitney and I am the owner of Wilmington Pool Service. I began offering services to the greater Wilmington area in 2008. We have built relationships with great local vendors, built a loyal customer base, and continue to expand our horizons. Our experience doesn't stop with knowledge about pools; I understand that it takes more than a clean pool to please customers. Our consistency, reliability, and high level of communication ensure you're getting value from our services.

About the Owner:
Originally from Santa Cruz, CA, I began my experience in the swimming pool industry as a service technician for a company called, Allied Pool Products Inc. I spent two years working for APPI, learning from seasoned technicians and managers with a lifetime in the trade. I offered services to residential homes, hotels, swim centers, and other commercial accounts. Being recognized for my leadership, communication skills, and strong work ethic; I helped manage the 200+ account service department occasionally. I ended parting ways with APPI to persue a new life in North Carolina. After arriving in Charlotte, NC, I continued my swimming pool career with a commercial pool company, Aquatech Pool Management. My position as an area manager gave me the opportunity to learn more about the commercial pool industry. I managed over 30 different public pools while working for Aquatech. Since moving to Wilmington, NC, I have gone through training seminars, visited trade shows, and spent additional time learning from leading industry experts.
